With great joy, the Church of St. Mary of Egypt & St. Timothy the Apostle in Freehold, New Jersey requests your prayers to the Lord of Glory, Jesus Christ, in the coming days, that He may complete His work and be glorified in the accomplishment of purchasing a 29-acre piece of land in Millstone, NJ.
Just as the Lord, in all His glory, previously made possible the purchases of St. Mary’s Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, St. Mary and St. George Church in Albany, New York, and St. Abraam’s Church in Woodbury (Long Island), New York, we have witnessed the work of the Lord and the work of the Holy Spirit in establishing these churches as altars for the Lord. “For unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”
And at this time, by the grace of our Philanthropic Lord and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who enlightens our path and grants us vision to accomplish the will of God, we are moving forward to purchase the 29-acre land to be used for building a church and some service buildings and spiritual activity centers for the sons and daughters of the Church and for the elderly.
The total amount required is $3,200,000, of which $800,000 is currently available, leaving a remaining amount of $2,400,000.
As we live a life of prayer during these holy days of fasting, we lift up our hearts to You, O God the Good Shepherd, asking that You help us complete this work and enlighten our minds so that we may walk worthy of the calling with which we were called. Let us all hasten to contribute to this blessed work, which requires the participation of all spiritual efforts through prayer, financial contributions, or interest-free loans to be repaid later, each according to his own. And we say with faith, ‘From His hand we have given to Him,’ and ‘God loves a cheerful giver.’
May God bless this project through the intercessions and prayers of the Holy Theotokos St. Mary, St. Timothy, the Apostle, St. Mary of Egypt, His Holiness our beloved Patriarch, Pope Tawadros II, and his partner in the apostolic liturgy, our beloved father, His Grace Bishop Gabriel, Papal Vicar of New Jersey.

فرحتُ بالقائلينَ لي: إلى بيتِ الربِّ نذهبُ.
أما أنا فبِكَثرةِ رحمتِكَ أدخلُ إلى بيتِكَ وأسجدُ أمام هيكلِكَ المقدسِ بمخافتِكَ.
ببركة الصومِ المقدس، وفي انتظارِ بهجةِ قيامةِ ربِّ المجدِ يسوعَ المسيح، وبفرحٍ عظيمٍ تعلنُ كنيسةُ القديسةِ مريمَ المصريةِ والقديسِ الأنبا تيموثاوس الرسول بمنطقةِ فري هولد عن احتياجِها لصلواتِكم لربِّ المجدِ يسوعَ المسيح في الأيامِ القادمة، حتى يتمِّمَ الربُّ عملَه ويتمجَّدَ في إتمامِ شراءِ قطعةِ أرضٍ مساحتُها ٢٩ فدانًا في منطقةِ ميليستون بولايةِ نيوجيرسي، كما سبق وأعطى نعمةً عندما تمَّ شراءُ كنيسةِ القديسةِ مريم في رالي بولايةِ كارولينا الشمالية، وشراءِ كنيسةِ القديسةِ مريم والقديسِ جورجيوس بمنطقةِ ألباني بولايةِ نيويورك، وكذلك كنيسةِ القديسِ أبرام في منطقةِ وودبري لونغ آيلاند بولايةِ نيويورك، حيث لمسنا عملَ الربِّ وفعلَ الروحِ القدس في تأسيسِ هذه الكنائس لتصيرَ مذابحَ للربِّ، لأنه إنْ لم يَبنِ الربُّ البيتَ فباطلًا يتعبُ البنَّاؤون.
وها نحن اليومَ، بنعمةِ ربِّنا وبفعلِ الروحِ القدس الذي يُنيرُ الطريقَ أمامنا ويمنحُنا البصيرةَ لنتمِّمَ إرادةَ الله، نتحرَّكُ لشراءِ مساحةِ ٢٩ فدانًا تُستخدَمُ لبناءِ كنيسةٍ وبعضِ المباني الخدميةِ والمراكزِ والأنشطةِ الروحية لأبناءِ الكنيسةِ والمسنين. والمبلغُ المطلوبُ هو ثلاثةُ ملايينَ ومئتا ألفِ دولار (٣٬٢٠٠٬٠٠٠)، متوفرٌ منها حاليًّا ٨٠٠٬٠٠٠ دولار، ليكونَ المبلغُ المتبقي ٢٬٤٠٠٬٠٠٠ (مليونينِ وأربعمائةِ ألفِ دولار).
وإذ نحن نعيشُ حياةَ الصلاةِ في أيامِ الصومِ المقدس، نرفعُ قلوبَنا إليكَ يا اللهُ الراعي الصالح، أن تُعينَنا على إتمامِ هذا العمل، وتُنيرَ عقولَنا لكي نسلكَ كما يَحقُّ للدعوةِ التي دُعينا إليها، ونُبادِرَ بالمساهمةِ في هذا العملِ المبارك، الذي يحتاجُ إلى تضافرِ كلِّ الجهودِ الروحية، برفعِ الصلوات، والتبرعاتِ المادية، أو تقديمِ قروضٍ بدونِ فوائد تُسدَّدُ آجلاً، كلٌّ حسبَ قدرته، مردِّدين: «من يدِه أَعطَيْناه»، و«المعطي المسرورَ يحبُّه الربُّ».
ليُوفِّقْنا اللهُ بصلواتِ صاحبِ الغبطةِ أبينا المكرَّم بطريركَنا الأنبا تواضروس الثاني، وشريكِه في الخدمةِ الرسوليةِ نيافةِ الأنبا جبرائيل أسقفِنا المحبوب والنائبِ البابويِّ لولايةِ نيوجيرسي. دامت محبتُكم وصلواتُكم، وباركَ اللهُ في عطاياكم.
